Who is Ryan Millington?

Ryan Millington is an aspiring professional racecar driver who has developed quite an impressive resume in his short few years of competing in races along the East Coast of the United States. At 18 years of age, Ryan is recognized as one of the young talents to promote up through NASCAR’s ladder system. He has been winning races since his Dad first bought him a dirt go-kart when Ryan was 7 and fully intends to continue his winning ways as he works his way up through NASCAR’s developmental series and on to further levels of NASCAR. 

Ryan’s early racing career saw him compete and win races in go-kart racing around the Carolinas. He then graduated into U.S. Legend Cars and mini outlaws to expand his skill set. In 2016 Ryan moved up into the very competitive NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Hickory Motor Speedway. In his rookie season, he won three races, finished second in point, won the UNOH Youth Achievement Award and was crowned the North Carolina NASCAR Rookie of the Year.

 2017 saw Ryan bring his talent to the next level in his sophomore season in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. He won 10 poles, 9 races and became the youngest champion in the illustrious history of Hickory Motor Speedway, adding his name to the likes of Ralph Earnhardt, Junior Johnson, Ned Jarrett, Harry Gant and a host of other great Legends.

2018 Ryan raced full time at Ace Speedway Week in and week out Ryan and the team gave him great cars all year long with 7 wins and a runner up spot in track points Ryan has his eyes set on the next 2 major races. At Martinsville Ryan qualified 10th and mechanical problems took him out of the race early. The Myrtle Beach 400 was Ryan’s highlight to his 2018 season with a 3rd place finish in the 250 lap prestigious race.

2019 Had a few big changes and new people added to the race team, Ryan would now be partnered with Greg Marlow, a legend in the Late Model industry. Ryan to this point has 10 straight top 3 finishes at Ace Speedway with 5 wins and 5 poles in that time period he has also picked up a 2nd place finish in the Icebreaker 250 at Myrtle beach speedway in February a Pole and 2nd place finish at Ace Speedway in the CARS Tour Series. And 1 Win at hickory.

Ryan was crowned the 2019 Late Model Stock Track Champion at Ace Speedway.
